CSULB Sailing Association
Another year of sailing is almost at an end, which means it’s time for the Sailing Association’s annual Holiday Kayak Paddle and club party.
Each December the CSULBSA invites members and beginner students to Leeway Sailing Center for some night kayaking through Alamitos Bay and the Naples canals. After the paddle, the club shares food and gifts at Leeway in a traditional “potluck” feast.
This year’s kayak paddle was Sunday, Dec 20th, with almost 20 people in attendance. The highlight of the night was the food, specifically the homemade tamales from Dulce Olivieri and Estela Tejidor, not to mention enough desserts to fill two tables.
