CSULB Sailing Association
Nearly 100 people attended the CSULB Sailing Association’s new member BBQ on September 6, 2014 at Leeway Sailing Center.
With the help of current skippers, new students had the chance to take the tiller and sail Alamitos Bay on their choice of Capris or Shields.
Students also took the opportunity to sign up for beginner sailing lessons offered by the CSULBSA. The weekly classes (Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 2pm) had nearly 60 student signatures in total.
The BBQ marks the beginning of the club’s Fall activities, including Group Sail on Saturdays at 2pm and Laser Lunacy on Sundays at 10:30am.
